31/1/2024 CrossFit: TAKING ON A NEW CHALLENGEAt CrossFit Wolfram, as expected, we follow the CrossFit methodology. These classes are accessible to all from complete beginners to advanced athletes. It combines bodyweight movement, weightlifting and cardiovascular activity to create a new challenge on a daily basis. That's great, but why is CrossFit more than just what you do while workout out? Well as well as providing a workout at a high intensity to provide amazing results, it's the feeling it brings with it. CrossFit class should feel like "play time", a time where you can shut off, have some exercise while being coached with an amazing bunch of people.
Some of the common things we hear are: "It's great to get in, have the workout ready for me and have someone tell me exactly what to do. Work and kids are stressful enough, I don't need to think about what movements I'm doing, how many sets and reps I'm going to do and for how long I'll train that day." "The community is everything. Being able to work out is a load of people that all want to get fit and have fun is an amazing experience. It's something I can't live without now." All I'm trying to explain here is that CrossFit is so much more than just a workout. It's a lifestyle, a community and an incredible way to relieve stress from day to day life.
