We have an exciting new Endurance WOD class starting at 0900 on Sunday mornings from 3rd Nov, replacing the current Hero WOD class. This new class format will allow more variety in the programming and to utilise Hero WODs more in the general week to week programming.
The class format will aimed at developing cardiovascular output and muscular endurance by utilising a combination of methods such as AMRAPS, RFT, interval work and big rep range chippers. A class will consist of a warm up, followed by a single, longer WOD and then a cool down to finish.
Get yourselves booked in so you can get to work on building those engines!
CHANGES TO OLYMPIC LIFTING CLASS!
Due to demand, we’ve increased the Olympic Lifting class sizes to 16 spaces. It’s great to see how these classes are continuing to grow in popularity, and with the addition of the extra spaces we’ve given as many of you as possible a chance to improve your lifting! Friday’s class will now no longer be a repeat of Tuesday. Every class will be different so please be aware!
CARD PAYMENTS NOW AVAILABLE
We now have a card machine for purchasing any snacks, drinks, t-shirts, or class packs, etc..
It’s a typical card payment process: tap for any value up to £30, chip and pin for anything higher.
You have the option of having a receipt emailed or text to you. Minimum spend is £1.
The device works off 3g so the signal is a bit dodgy in places, you might struggle at first but if you take it round the box for a walk you should get some coverage!
OUR NEW KIT!
You’ll have noticed the recent investment of new kit at the box. We now have some brand-new ply boxes and some new 5 kg plates to replace the old kit that was in need of updating. A reminder that the “no drop rule” applies to these ALL 5 kg plates, as well as wall balls, kettlebells, dumbbells, etc. The more we can all look after the existing kit, the less we have to spend replacing worn out equipment and then we can keep investing in exciting new kit!
