22/7/2024 6 WAYS TO BE MORE ACCOUNTABLEIf I asked you if eating healthy was important, you’d probably say ‘of course.’ And if I asked whether exercise is crucial for health and , you’d likely agree. So, if we know that combining good nutrition and fitness is the secret to a vibrant, healthy life, why don’t we always do it? Why do we often prioritize one over the other until we get a wake-up call, like getting winded climbing stairs or a concerning high blood-pressure reading? From my experience at CrossFit Wolfram, the key factor is accountability. We often let ourselves down, but when someone else relies on us, we show up. We justify skipping our nutrition plan or the gym, promising to try again tomorrow—or start fresh on Monday. This repeated failure makes us feel incapable and weak-minded. Relying on others for accountability is OK short-term. At CFW, we support you with reminders, check-ins, and celebrating milestones. Our community notices when you’re absent and reaches out.
