On the 25th July we get to open our doors to all of our members and potential new members!
We have put in place guidance signs, provided hand sanitiser and cleaning wipes as well as marking out spaces for people to train. At first we anticipate a slightly smaller class size than our previous maximum, however, as CrossFit training necessitates physical space for all participants this is actually not too much of a change and most likely we will be looking at going from 12 to 8 people per class.
What is going to be different is the mixing of kit. Previously a workout might have used the rig, boxes, a barbell, some weights and a skipping rope. But now, in order to maximise cleaning efficiency we will be limiting the amount of kit per workout.
Our new (temporary) timetable is up on our website and we are SO excited to have the opportunity to coach and train together again! WELCOME BACK TO WOLFRAM!
Our brand-new Gymnastics class is starting on Thursday evenings at 1830, from 5th December onwards. This class will feature a different gymnastic movement each month with the focus on working through a series of movement progressions for you to dial in those gymnastic movements!
2nd Birthday Party!
This January sees CrossFit Wolfram turn a whole 2 years old! To celebrate, we’re hosting a birthday party on Saturday 11th January that will feature an extra sweaty Team WOD at 0900-1000, before replenishing those muscle glycogen stores with some cakey goodness! Any bakers amongst you are also welcome to bring some baked goodies on the day in order help celebrate the festivities! This will also be a “Bring a buddy” open event, so partners and friends are welcome to come and get involved… just tell them there will be cake!
We have an exciting new Endurance WOD class starting at 0900 on Sunday mornings from 3rd Nov, replacing the current Hero WOD class. This new class format will allow more variety in the programming and to utilise Hero WODs more in the general week to week programming.
The class format will aimed at developing cardiovascular output and muscular endurance by utilising a combination of methods such as AMRAPS, RFT, interval work and big rep range chippers. A class will consist of a warm up, followed by a single, longer WOD and then a cool down to finish.
Get yourselves booked in so you can get to work on building those engines!
